Swets retains its global ISO 9001:2008 certificate for another 3 years!

Swets, the global leader in managing professional information for publishers, libraries and other information centers, is delighted to announce that the company has successfully retained its global ISO 9001:2008 certification, passing its recent ISO audits with flying colors. The new certificate is valid for a further three years, running until July 2017.

"The ISO 9001 certificate is a standard that's recognized the world over as a badge of excellence and we're extremely proud to have retained our global certification," said Ramon Schrama, Director Services & Operations at Swets. "Considering the forces that have affected our industry, the fact that we have held an ISO certificate for more than 15 years serves as a major endorsement of our business processes and the value they provide."

The ISO 9001:2008 certificate is the world's most recognized quality management standard. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Certificates are awarded to organizations that provide:

  • Outstanding levels of customer service
  • Excellent quality management controls that help address customer needs
  • More efficient ways of working, thus saving time, money and resources for all parties
  • Improved operational performance to eliminate errors

"The ISO 9001:2008 certification illustrates clearly our commitment to providing transparency in our business," added Ramon Schrama. " It enforces our ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring our services are performed in the most accurate and efficient manner possible and it proves, first and foremost, why Swets is regarded as the leading information services provider in our industry."
